Although the original EPIC Option fell short on signatures, the momentum we’ve built positions us to turn this vision into a reality for Nebraska.
The EPIC Option 2.0 Petition proposes a bold constitutional amendment to eliminate Nebraska’s personal and real property taxes, personal and corporate income taxes, and the inheritance tax, starting January 1, 2028.
For nearly six decades, lawmakers have offered superficial tax “reforms” that have failed to relieve the growing financial strain on Nebraskans. This petition empowers voters, not politicians, to decide how much tax they pay and when.
Now is the time to move from temporary fixes to permanent solutions. This citizen-driven initiative shifts the power from the legislature to the people and reshapes Nebraska’s future.
